New first grade coach Chris Walker claims the team will field a strong side in an attempt to progress further in the competition.
"I think we will take it pretty serious," Walker told the Argus.
"We will field a similar side to what we have in trial matches."
Ironically, the Rangers did battle with the Tigers in a trial match last Saturday, before the draw was announced for the third round match up.
Rangers earned bragging rights in an end-to-end 3-2 victory.
The Rangers have lost some players from their premiership winning side last season but Walker said it has created an opportunity for the younger players to step up.
"We have a bit of a mix, there's a few players still here but also a few new guys," Walker said.
"Most of the new guys are Rangers juniors though and it's great to have them coming through the ranks."
The FFA Cup match kicks off at 3pm at Dangar St Oval.
