When the work is done, all nine courts will have working lights for night tennis.
"Our lights have been slowly failing over the years, one poll fell down in a storm and the lighting fixtures have been wearing out," club president Ben Bailey said.
"Chris Halliday from Powerlogic played some games with us recently, and when he saw the state of our lights, he volunteered the time and resources of his company to help us get them back in working order.
"We very much appreciate Chris and his family for all their hard work and generosity. Without their efforts, we would not be close to having working lights on all our courts."

Originally part of the Gladstone Club, Halliday started playing at the Kempsey Club after his former club faded away.
The local isn't officially a member yet, he was quick to offer his help to keep the facilities in working order.
"My wife and I have been involved in tennis for years and years; we had been running the Gladstone Club, but once that started to play out due to the drought and COVID-19, we moved our members to Kempsey as we wanted to help keep these excellent facilities going," he said."
"Tennis is a great game that many can play into their old age, once we finish the lights, I'm keen to see old and new players on the courts of an evening."
Halliday and his family have been the primary workforce behind the renovations, but they recently received help from another local business.
"We needed to move one light pole to another court, and Dune's Cranes helped us out," he said.
"The move was going to be really tricky, as access to that side of courts is over a wide drain, but with their expertise, the job was finished easily."
COVID-19 restrictions have slowly been easing all around the state, and Kempsey Tennis Club has now been able to return to business as usual, albeit with a few changes.
"We are back to our normal timetable, and are allowed four people on each court again," Bailey said.
"The club is adhering to all COVID-19 recommendations, there is hand sanitiser available, and we are asking all our members to avoid contact where possible."
