The 2020 Brennan Family open 18 hole 4 person ambrose event was held last Saturday at the Kempsey Golf Club with a field of 117 players hitting off on the day.

The day was well supported by the members and visitors form near and far and everyone on the day thanked the Brennans for the day and to all the helpers on the day.
Taking out the ambrose event with a fantastic score of 55 nett was the group of mates which included Matt Lewis, Josh Brenton, Tim Smith and Ben Everson.
The runner up spot on the day went to the team of Conrad Tamblyn, Ian Rudd, Cedric Rudd and Carlin Dunbar-Rudd with a net score of 561/8.
The gross winners on the day was the early morning team of Brody Clarke, Dean Greenhalgh, Peter Livermore and Nancy McNamara with a round of 63.
Winners of the NTP on the third hole were Matt Brennan 'A', Gary Brown 'B', Austin Northery 'C' and Cassie Black 'L'.
On the eighth hole the winners were Greg Roberts 'A' and Carlin Dunbar-Rudd 'B'.

The winners at the eleventh hole were Ian Rudd 'A', Steve Morrison 'B', Ron Ingall 'C' and Nancy McNamara 'L'.
At the tough sixteenth hole the winners were Martin Johnston 'A', David Hulme 'B' and Nathan Phillips 'C'.
Also on the day there were prizes for the long hitters on the ninth hole and the winners of the long drives with some very big hits from the tee were Andrew Watts 'A', Ed Lahey 'B', Josh Brenton 'C', and Deniece Dyet in the ladies.
A reminder to all the winners that all unclaimed prizes from the day can be collected from the pro shop at the club.
Saturday at the Kempsey Golf Club the members will play in the 2020 May racing (Tony May) 18 hole single stableford event.
All intending players can book in now at the club or go online to book in for your round, and all players are reminded to still obey the COVID-19 rules at the club.
Don't forget the weekly open single stableford event is held every Thursday with a walk up start from 7am.
All players should book in at the pro shop before hitting off.
